Croatian Heritage Land of Kings Ceramic Tile Mural is a monumental historical artwork from my My Art Collection, created as a tribute to Croatian history, heritage, the Adriatic coast and the landscapes that have shaped Croatia through the centuries.
This is not intended to be an ordinary decorative tile. It was created as a limited collectible artwork, combining Croatian history, royal heritage, architecture and the beauty of the Adriatic into one large continuous composition.
The scene presents King Tomislav as the central historical figure, standing above the magnificent coastal landscape with his sword, royal clothing and shield. Behind him rises the Croatian flag, creating a powerful visual connection between the historical kingdom and modern Croatian identity.
Below, the composition opens toward the Adriatic Sea and a magnificent historic stone city. Fortified walls, towers, churches, harbor buildings, boats and traditional Mediterranean architecture fill the coastline, while islands and dramatic mountains extend toward the horizon.
Cypress trees, palms, rocky terrain, sailing boats, birds and atmospheric clouds add depth and detail throughout the composition. The result is a panoramic scene combining king, history, stone, sea and homeland into one monumental work of ceramic art.

My Art Collection
This artwork is part of my My Art Collection, a personal collection created from my own artistic vision of historical, cultural and legendary subjects.
For this piece, I wanted to create something that immediately communicates the atmosphere of Croatia through a combination of its historical heritage and its extraordinary Adriatic landscape.
The intention was to create a scene that feels monumental when viewed as a complete four-tile composition, with details that continue to reveal themselves when viewed up close.
Laser Engraved Ceramic Artwork
The artwork is specially prepared for laser engraving on ceramic tiles, using deep black engraving, delicate gray gradients and large areas of natural white ceramic.
Fine engraved details reveal the texture of stone walls, royal clothing, the flag, architecture, mountains, trees, clouds and water while preserving bright ceramic areas throughout the composition.
The four ceramic pieces form one continuous panoramic artwork, allowing the historical figure, Croatian landscape and Adriatic city to flow naturally from one tile to the next.
Built to Last
The artwork is permanently laser engraved onto ceramic and is designed to remain a lasting decorative piece for decades with proper care and suitable installation.
A limited artwork such as this can become part of a family collection and be passed from parents to children and grandchildren, preserving both the physical artwork and the story represented by it.

A classic black and gray laser engraved finish. Different shades of black and gray create depth, contrast and fine details, while the natural white ceramic remains visible as the lightest part of the artwork.

How Multi-Color Laser Engraving Works
For multi-color artwork, several layers of color can be applied to the ceramic surface. The laser selectively removes different areas and depths of these layers, revealing the colors underneath and creating the final image.
This means the colors are not simply printed onto the ceramic. They are revealed through the laser engraving process, allowing the artwork to have different tones, details and visual depth. Similar layered-color techniques are used by laser engraving makers to produce multi-color ceramic artwork.
The natural white ceramic is not counted as one of the selected colors. It remains the natural background of the artwork.
